We took time this morning to honor the veterans within our building, those in our communty, and all others who serve and sacrifice for our country. We are forever grateful for them.
We had the opportunity to see the Winthrop University Wind Symphony today! They are touring around a few schools and EHS was a stop. We also had the added bonus of watching EHS alum Austin Hunt perform with the group.

If you walk the hallways of EHS, you will find that we extend learning outside the classroom -- literally! Our teachers love to proudly display student work. You can easily learn about the water cycle, cooking methods, genealogy, and endless other topics. This image is just a small sampling of what our students have been discovering and learning lately.
We are thrilled to announce that we have continued to improve as a school community. The school report card measures many areas of EHS, and we are excited to share some of those highlights.
We are so proud of our NJROTC students! Their annual inspection and ceremony took place this morning. Thery did a wonderful job!
Our students have been enjoying a new type of hands-on learning here at EHS. We love having VR headsets that can be used to enhance what our teachers are doing in their classrooms.

Our annual College and Career Fair is coming up next week! Join us in the main gym on October 9th to meet with various college, military, and business representatives. Don't worry about dinner either -- we will have food trucks! All students and families are invited.

Seniors: College Application Day is coming up! Sign up using the link if you would like help filling out and submitting applications. Representatives from various schools will be on campus to help. Several schools will also waive their application fee this day.

Members of the American Legion select students each year through an application and interview process to serve as delegates to Palmetto Boys and Girls State, a program that allows students to gain hands-on experience over the summer learning more about local and state government.
If you know someone who would be a great fit for our School Improvement Council, please nominate them! This group of parents, teachers, and community members will meet periodically with EHS administration with a goal of improving school issues throughout the year. The form outlines the qualifications of who is eligible to serve. Thank you for your consideration!
