Today is the last day to nominate a teacher in SDPC to participate in the Extra Yard for Teachers challenge. In partnership with Eckrich, the Extra Yard for Teachers is giving teachers the chance to win $1 Million to fund classroom resources!
If selected, your teacher will be able to participate in the throw during the Clemson University vs. Miami game on November 19, 2022, where they will be eligible to win $1 million to fund classroom resources.

Amistad will be hosting a CANNED FOOD DRIVE beginning Monday, Nov. 7th. Please bring canned & non-perishable foods and put them in your house's box in the gym each morning. The top-collecting house will earn house points! #sparkpride

PMS was recently selected as a stop on the 2022 Eckrich Teacher Recognition Tour as part of Extra Yard for Teachers from the CFP Foundation. Eckrich served a delicious meal to the faculty & staff yesterday and presented a check to the school for $1000 through Donors Choose for needed supplies. Boys' BASKETBALL tryouts will begin on Monday, November 7th from 5:30-7:30pm. Any 7th or 8th grade boy interested in playing basketball should see Coach Roberson to add his name to the sign-up sheet. A current physical must be on file to try out.
Job Shadowing Day for 7th and 8th graders is scheduled for Monday, Nov. 7th. Students must turn in permission forms by Nov. 2nd stating where they plan to complete at least 4 hours of a job shadow experience. If students need another form, they can drop by Guidance.
