Congratulations to the Daniel Varsity Winter Guard! They were named CWEA Scholastic AA Gold Medalists this past weekend at CWEA Championships at James F. Byrnes High School.
All freshmen will take both Reading and Math MAP on April 6 during extended 1st and 2nd periods. Students need to bring charged Chromebooks and chargers. AM Career Center freshmen will remain on campus to test.
Required ACT WorkKeys testing will be given to all juniors on April 5 from 8:45 AM to 12:30 PM. Students should bring photo ID, no 2 pencils, and calculator. This is a paper test.

And the winner is…Mrs.Chandler! DWD had their first annual chili cook-off today, and Mrs.Chandler won the champion apron and golden spoon. With over 20 pots of chili entered, the judges had quite a task to narrow it down to just one. We can’t wait until next year to see if Mrs. Chandler can hold on to her new title.
We will have homeroom tomorrow, 3/11. Sophomores need to report to the auditorium. Everyone else should report to homeroom.
Masks are optional on Saturday for the SAT.
