You heard it right: Krispy Kreme is coming to Daniel and this time we have TWICE the donuts! $1/donut, $10/dozen. Parents, students, and teachers are all welcome to purchase in the morning in the car loop or student parking lot. First come, first served. Sales start at 8:15am next Friday.

Join us March 21st at 6pm in the Daniel HS Fine Arts Wing as we recognize some of the most incredible student artists in the Daniel area. We'll also use this as an opportunity to recognize works that are selected to move on to the SDPC Juried Student Art Exhibition at the Pickens County Museum of Art and History in April.

Qwentin Welborn won the State Championship for the South Carolina Wrestling Tournament. He defeated Davis Stubbs from Woodruff 6-3. On his way to the finals he had victories over Battery Creek and Lake City. The Lake City wrestler, Andre McFadden, was the reigning state champion and was undefeated going into the semi-final bout with Welborn. Qwentin defeated him with a takedown in overtime to take the victory. Qwentin was the state runner up last year and compiled a record of 38-3 this season. He was the region champion, upper state runner-up, and becomes the first Daniel wrestler to win an individual state championship since 1999. Great job, Qwentin!
